It was a history making evening for Goderich as the Prime Minister of Canada, The Right Honourable Stephen Harper made a surprise appearance at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Goderich April 3 2007 where he addressed a enthusiastic crowd of about 750 people on a number of issues. The Prime Minister’s visit boosted confidence and awareness for the Huron-Bruce riding and candidate Ben Lobb. The Huron-Bruce Conservative Association planned the event in only 4 days.
