South Huron Gets New Water Tower in Huron Park

A new Water Tower was being erected in Huron Park that will hold 2.7 million liters, primarily to provide fire flow in case of an emergency to Huron Park, Centralia, Crediton, and area. Colin Wiebe of Gamsby and Mannerow, the company that engineered the project was on hand to explain. Don Giberson, Director of Infrastructure & Development for South Huron says the project would not of been possible without the federal and provincial stimulus funding and said its a phenomenal day to see the tower going up after all the years of planning. Don also explains the other projects taking place that will update and improve the municipality water system.
