Larry McDermott the mayor of Lanark Highlands was in Goderich after a meeting with Finance Minister Hon. Greg Sorbara. McDermott, Crediton business and property Owner Dianne Faubert, Mark Stuart director of public works for South Bruce, and Tim Simpson the CAO of Lanark Highlands in eastern Ontario were also present. The group was at a meeting with the Finance Minister in Goderich to support fair infrastructure funding for small communities in Ontario. The group presented the concerns of rural Ontario to the minister and the need for infrastructure funding.
