Proposed South Huron Water Rates Brought To Premier’s Attention
Premier Dalton McGuinty, Liberal MPPs, and Cabinet Ministers retreated to Benmiller Inn near Goderich to prepare and discuss the fall Liberal agenda. In a news conference Dan Byelis brought the new proposed water rates for South Huron to the Premier’s attention and asked what the municipality can look forward to, to help pay for the new rates. The Premier responded saying he announced $1.1 billion allocated for municipal partners and asked they invest the funds in infrastructure.
