Minister Meilleur Announces Ontario Child Benefit
Minister of Community and Social Services Madeleine Meilleur was at the Relouw Early Childhood Learning Centre in Exeter along with MPP Carol Mitchell and South Huron Mayor Ken Oke. Minister Meilleur announced a new provincially funded, non-taxable Ontario Child Benefit (OCB) for eligible low-income families with children under 18 years of age. The Ontario Child Benefit will invest $2.1 Billion to help 1.3 million children in the province.
