Closure for Norway Family 50 years later

50 years later Ola Kjus and his wife Turi from Norway visit the site his brother Tore Kjus was killed after being struck by a car near Grand Bend. Tore Kjus was part of the Norwegian student pilot contingent training at the former RCAF Station Centralia at the time. Ola and Turi were taken on a tour of Exeter town hall and later Goderich Aircraft in Huron Park where Tore would have been stationed.
Pilot Hugh Shields provided flyovers and information on the DeHavilland Chipmunk, the type of plane Tore was training in as a tribute for the family. MPP Carol Mitchell presented a certificate to the couple, and a letter and flag from MP Ben Lobb on behalf of the Canadian government was given.
