Captain/ Flight Instructor Rick Shulist and Adam Dezelle from the Central Region Chatham Cadet Flying Site were at Centralia Airfield providing glider flights for youth. The Air Cadets program is for youth ages 12-18 who are interested in aviation. Major Brian Smith that runs the South Western Ontario Gliding Centre for more than 30 years says they have had cadets go onto civil and military careers. The Central Region Chatham Cadet Flying Site services 13 Air Cadet Squadrons in South Western Ontario with glider flights at Chatham-Kent Municipal Airport and Centralia Airfield.
