ABCA Communications Specialist Tim Cumming was talking to a group from Bluewater Rest Home at the South Huron Trail in Exeter about their ride on the South Huron Trail Mobile. The Trail Mobile gives people with limited mobility the chance to get outdoors and experience the natural surroundings of the area. Activity volunteer coordinator at Bluewater Resthome Stacey Pfaff says its a wonderful opportunity for people to get out and enjoy the scenery and fresh air. Volunteer driver Jerry Mathers says its very rewarding to see people enjoy themselves and to know how much they appreciate the opportunity to be in the outdoors. Passengers of the Trail Mobile described seeing the scenery and being in the outdoors as a great experience.
The South Huron Trail Mobile was created in 2006, thanks to a donation from the family of the late Gordon Strang.
